Student Achievements

Melissa Ferrone’s work has been recently published in 5×5, The Pinch, and The Fourth River.

Hailey Foglio’s short story “The Art of Grieving” was published in March 2014 by The Oddville Press. She also had another short story, “Screaming for Colin Blake,” published in June 2014 by The Bangalore Review.

Claire Fowler’s essay “Space and Time” appeared in the September 2014 issue of Cleaver Magazine.

Feagin Jones’ essay “Tornado” appeared in Hippocampus Magazine for the Weather and Acts of Nature issue in July 2014. Her essay “Light Show” was published in PANK in October 2014 for their Queer issue.

Sadie Shorr-Parks recently published book reviews with The Iowa Review and the Southern Literary Review. She also has a poem forthcoming in the anthology “Gutters and Alleyways: Perspectives on Poverty and Struggle” with Lucid Moose Press.

Shaun Turner’s review of Lee Passarella’s collection of poems, Redemption, was in the Southern Literary Review in May 2014. His flash fiction, “Kentucky Snakes” was published in the June 2014 issue of Cleaver Magazine. His short fiction, “How I Learned to Fish” appeared in Crack the Spine Issue 118.
